All grades due to Homeroom Teacher: Parent Survey (Homework for parents! Please return as soon as possible, thanks!)
6th Grade Social Studies:
- Read and sign Course Syllabus (blue paper) -- student and parent/guardian signature Due Wednesday, September 4th (This will be checked-in to verify it's been read, then remain in student's binder for reference--a copy is also available on this blog under the Social Studies tab).
- Interview an adult (mom, dad, grandma, neighbor, older sybling, etc.) with the following question: "What is Social Studies?" or "What is Social Studies to you?" Then record their response on a piece of notebook paper. A few sentences is great. Due Friday, September 6th
7th/8th Grade Social Studies

- Syria Op-Ed Read and Respond: Due Friday, September 6th (8th Grade only).
(7th graders will not have this assignment until Wednesday).Updated for 7th Grade: Assigned on Thursday, due on Tuesday, September 10th.
